The Kodkod is the smallest wild cat in America, it only weighs around 5 pounds and measures 15 inches in head-to-body length.
Also known as “Guiña” these elusive felines are native to south-central Chile, with smaller populations in Argentina and Chiloé Island. They have a distinctive coat with dark spots on a reddish-brown background, are skilled climbers, and primarily nocturnal hunters, navigating dense vegetation with ease.
