People who sleep late are more likely to die young

Recently published in the journal Chronobiology International, the study analyzed data from nearly 23,000 twins collected over 37 years in Finland. University of Helsinki scientists studied how an individual’s natural sleep inclination affects health.

While chronotype showed minimal direct impact on mortality, a higher risk of death in „evening“ people was attributed to increased tobacco and alcohol consumption.
